Gary Moore is a Professor Emeritus of Agricultural and Extension Education at North Carolina State University. Gary has made more than 450 presentations in 41 states, three Canadian provinces, and on four continents. He has been a feature speaker at the New York Chautauqua 15 years in a row. As a university professor he was recognized as the outstanding agricultural professor in America by the National Association of Colleges and Teachers of Agriculture. He is a member of the Academy of Outstanding Teachers at North Carolina State University. Over his university career he has won numerous awards for outstanding teaching. Gary is also an active researcher/writer having published over 150 journal articles and three books. He has served as president of the American Vocational Education Research Association, the American Association for Agricultural Education, and the Association for Career and Technical Education.
