Dr. Lashawnte McCray-Sarvis is a visionary educator, consultant, and author with over 28 years of experience in shaping learning environments that foster equity, innovation, and lifelong success. She currently serves as an assistant principal of Heyward Career and Technology Center, where she has helped cultivate a culture of safety, well-being, and productivity that empowers both students and adults to thrive in a globally competitive society.As the founder and CEO of LeeJane’s Consulting LLC, Dr. McCray-Sarvis delivers professional, personalized consulting services to schools, organizations, and professionals, with a special emphasis on workplace skills development, leadership training, and support for international teachers. Her work is grounded in a belief that each individual deserves to be known, valued, and equipped with the tools to excel.A passionate advocate for equity and inclusion, Dr. McCray-Sarvis has embedded student and community needs into decision-making processes, ensuring her leadership consistently promotes opportunity and access for all. She has also empowered students and educators alike to embrace leadership roles, fostering creativity, innovation, and accountability in educational and workplace settings.In addition to her leadership in education and consulting, Dr. McCray-Sarvis is a published author of My Name is Lu-Shawn-tu: From the Womb to the Woman and Embarking on a Journey: Through the Eyes of a Poet. Both works reflect her commitment to personal growth, resilience, and the power of storytelling to inspire others.Dr. McCray-Sarvis is also certified through the National Entrepreneur Association and actively extends her impact to underserved communities through mentorship, workshops, and accessible professional development opportunities.
