About me
Dr. Lisa Rudzinski is a high school assistant principal and Career and Technical Education (CTE) leader with more than 30 years of experience in education, criminal justice, and workforce development. She holds a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in P–12 Administration from Morehead State University and a master’s degree in Career and Technical Education from Eastern Kentucky University.
She began her career in education as an industry-to-classroom educator, transitioning from criminal justice into teaching CTE. She has since served as an assistant principal in both a CTE center and a comprehensive high school, where she focuses on student achievement, postsecondary readiness, and supporting teachers.
Her doctoral work centered on developing practical tools to help school leaders better recruit, support, and retain CTE teachers transitioning from industry into the classroom.
She also serves on the Kentucky Education Professional Standards Board and previously held the role of chair, contributing to educator preparation and certification efforts across the state.
