About me
Mitzi Holland is an education leader with more than 25 years of experience in Career and Technical Education (CTE) and postsecondary readiness. She began her career as a business educator, spending 15 years developing students’ practical and career-focused skills. She later served for eight years as a College and Career Counselor, supporting students in exploring postsecondary options and planning for their futures.
Today, as Director of the Kentucky Advising Academy, an initiative of the Kentucky Council on Postsecondary Education, Mitzi leads statewide efforts to strengthen postsecondary advising. Her work focuses on improving advising practices, supporting educators, and expanding access to postsecondary opportunities for students across Kentucky.
