About me
Renee Ilhardt is a Senior School Improvement and Innovation Solutions Manager with the International Baccalaureate Organization in the Education Systems Solutions department. She brings over 24 years of K–12 experience. Her work focuses on building coherent pathways that connect early exposure to advanced skill development through exploration, creativity, and real-world learning.
She supports implementation of the International Baccalaureate Career-related Programme, where students develop problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills while exploring career pathways. She also partners with district leaders to align curriculum, advising, and experiential learning to strengthen college and career readiness.
In Miami-Dade County Public Schools, she served as an IB Diploma Programme Coordinator, National Board Certified Teacher, and District Supervisor for Advanced Academic Programs, supporting 102 schools and expanding access and equity. She now designs evidence-based school improvement solutions and is Doctoral Candidate at Florida State University. Her Dissertation in Practice is titled, "Bridging Academic Rigor and Career Readiness: Implementing the IBCP Through Educator Sensemaking."
